思考Golden Thread 黃金線的象徵意義
尋日整日腦裡出現「golden thread」這個term，其實上星期六８號颱風「獅子山」把我的彩油與塔羅工作坊Day4吹咗去16號，我就開始思思念念「golden thread」。然後臨瞓前決定十二月開一個彩油的 「golden thread」 工作坊，這個部分是彩油證書舊制的三階課裡面有的，但新制就沒有在證書課教，我嘛，懶得整合筆記就hea咗係度，已經被問了很多次， 「golden thread」 的諮詢也做過幾次，就是想再等多一等。
七月開始我在找一本2022年的記事冊，但卻一直遇唔啱，也買了兩本回來，其中一本是綠色封面，顏色對了但內頁不對，翻來翻去就是無法把資料寫入去，正打算在一本記事冊裡手畫算了時…….今天有朋友傳來一張相！！綠色封面的龍貓記事冊！買！那 我就開始searching關於「golden thread」 這個詞的象徵意義好了！！
「golden thread」 是 狄更斯Charles Dickens雙城記 A Tale of Two Cities第二冊的書名。
雙城記是指巴黎和倫敦，故事背景是法國大革命，這書主題思想是為了愛而自我犧牲。我是初中階段看的一堆翻譯名著裡其中印象深刻的一本，也是後來令我看音樂劇《孤星淚》Les Misérables時有更深的感受。
在雙城記裡面的 「golden thread」 是指女主角Lucie為他人 「編織了好的命運」
/In classical mythology, three sister gods called the Fates controlled the threads of human lives. A Tale of Two Cities adapts the classical Fates in two ways. As she knits the names of her enemies, Madame Defarge is effectively condemning people to a deadly fate. On the other hand, as Lucie weaves her “golden thread” through people’s lives, she binds them into a better destiny: a tightly-knit community of family and close friends. 「thread」 意思是 「線」
在希臘神話裡Moirai是指命運三女神： Clotho (“spinner”), Lachesis (“allotter”) and Atropos (“the unturnable”, a metaphor for death)，在她們的中間有一個金色的輪，她們拿著金色的紡錘在編織，每個人的命運也在她們的 「手上」，一但個人的命運編織完成，就無法避免而且不能改變。
「雙城記」一書的開卷語，「那是最美好的時代，那是最糟糕的時代」（It was the best of times. It was the worst of times）,而書的最後，雪尼‧卡頓（Sydney Carton）走上斷頭台之前回憶說：「我現在做的遠比我所做過的一切都美好；我將獲得的休息遠比我所知道的一切都甜蜜。」（It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known）。
想一想，這是命運女神的 「大整古」嗎？就像很多希臘神話故事裡的主角，或者戲劇裡的悲劇主角，是命運對他不公平還是其實隱藏了一些 「祕密」在當中。生命路上的尋找，需要找到這條 「golden thread」的線索，我們就能有多一點的可能和空間，讓自己覺知屬於自己的生命軌跡。＃
